Day 2: Another Cold Run

So I had made arrangements to take a swim at my girlfriend’s gym yesterday, but work got in the way.  Balancing my training with work will probably be the biggest challenge as I work towards June.  So, I took the night off since the sidewalks were pretty much all ice from sunday’s snowstorm.

Tonight I took another run, as I don’t have a pool or a bike yet.  The run will probably be the hardest part of the training for me.

Day 1: Pretraining Training

Today was my first day of preliminary training for the 2009 Philadelphia Triathalon.  It was a tough night to start out on.  It started snowing the minute I walked out the door - I hope this is not a sign of things to come.  I’ve dedicated this week to do a little training to better guage if I can get prepared for the Sprint Triathalon in June.  It was a bit rough, but I feel pretty confident that I can probably get myself ready in time.  I’ll be looking for ways to do some swimming and biking this week.  I’ll need to be a little resourceful since I have neither a bike nor a pool…
